Progress in the development and application of high power RF directed energy weapon (DEW) technologies for military missions was explored in this conference, the sixth in a series of DEPS conferences specifically devoted to high power RF.

The program of this joint US/UK conference was organized around six focus areas emphasizing topics of interest to the community:

  • RF DEW Weapon Concepts and Military Utility
  • RF DEW System Engineering and Integration
  • RF DEW Technologies
  • RF DEW Effects and Testing
  • Protection Against RF DEW
  • Overarching Issues (Legal/Policy/Doctrine)

This conference was specifically designed for SECRET US and UK discussions and presentations and participation was limited to U.S. and U.K. citizens with the proper visit request on file.

The technical sessions of the Conference were held at the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom, Shrivenham, which lies between Swindon and Oxford, west of London.
