Attendance Information
Attendance at the 2021 Adanced High-Power Laser & Beam Control Conference is open to anyone with an interest in the
science and technology of directed energy. However, some sessions are open only to employees
of the U.S. Government or its contractors, and others may further be limited to U.S. citizens.
The Symposium committee will attempt to create an agenda that offers sessions that are open to all registered attendees at
all times.

All presentations (Open and Limited Distribution) and any side meetings intending to discuss CUI will be exclusively supported
via Microsoft Teams. Direct links to the symposium will be distributed to registered and cleared attendees shortly before the event.

Virtual Conference registration fees include participation in all conference sessions for which the attendee qualifies, including a mailed CD copy of the Conference proceedings.
Single day registration options are available under certain conditions. Please contact Dawn Gutierrez
in the DEPS office to inquire.

Please be sure and review the Security requirements below for this event as they have changed from previous conferences.
Persons requesting cancellation through 20 July will receive a full refund. Cancellations after
20 July are subject to a $100 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given after 30 July.
Security
The 2021 Advanced High-Power Laser and Beam Control Conference will be composed of open and limited distribution sessions.
Please note that the sessions at the 2021 AHPL and Beam Control Conference are to be covered at the Limited Distribution security level, which restricts participation in those sessions to employees of the U.S. Department of Defense/Government or its contractors. Instructions for submitting visit requests are provided below.
Attendees will be admitted to the appropriate level of Limited Distribution sessions after successfully completing the two-step security verification process. A link to the virtual security check-in desk/ lobby, will be distributed the Friday or Saturday before the event, with additional access links provided AFTER attendees check-in daily. The link to the Virtual Security Check-In Desk/Lobby will not change, so save it for the duration of the workshop.
Please note that ALL visit requests must be received by DEPS no later than 1500 Mountain Daylight Time on Friday 30 July 2021. NO requests will be accepted
after this time.
The request must (1) be typed and on your company letter head, (2) be signed
by your company FSO, immediate supervisor, or program manager (if sending a clearance in this way, the signature must be that
of the facility security officer), and (3) contain the following information. Any visit request not meeting these conditions
is invalid and will not be processed.
