A so-called musical Renaissance girl, Angel Foss is a truly courageous, articulate and independent artist merging her song-writing, performing, engineering, and producing talents. Her sophisticated bravura reflects the combined influences of her lofty role models such as: Sarah McLachlan, Amiee Mann, Joni Mitchell, PJ Harvey, Kristen Hersh, and Chrissie Hynde. Angel’s inimitable performance will touch the heart and intrigue the mind. Her deep and resonant songs create an ambiance that gives the listener a multi-sensory experience; to not just hear her music, but to become absorbed in the textures and imagery.

A pianist and songwriter since age seven, Angel has naturally matured her technique through both formal education and hands-on experience. She instinctually records new material in her own studio, playing most instruments and self-producing each track. Angel enjoys collaborating with other musicians, songwriters, producers, and engineers, absorbing knowledge and experience to hone her writing and recording skills. Her music is a genuine reflection of her unique and evolved sound that rouses sensory bliss.

Angel performs in various coffee houses, wineries, and small venues as a solo act. She is now working among diverse musicians performing in larger venues. Some of her notable performances include the National Women’s Music Festival (2004), the House of Blues, Cleveland in (2006), Fat Fish Blue, Cleveland (2007), Barking Spider Tavern, Cleveland (2007), and Kelley’s Island Brewery (2007). She released her 2006 debut CD, “The Olive Collection v2.0." She is currently in the studio recording her 10 newest songs, set to be called "The Violet Collection." There is an undeniable continuity with rich lyrical hooks in this collection. Her diary-like lyric style combines real-life and personal issues into universal experiences where both long-time fans, as well as, fresh fans develop a newfound affection for her music.

Her irrepressible energy and attitude portrayed in her music creates vitality among her listeners. Ultimately, fans will take pleasure in the warmth of the production, the purity of Angel’s voice, the richness of the harmonies, and the distinctive, ultra-ambitious instrumentation and melodies.
