High Energy Laser Lethality Conference 2003

Overview

The initial High Energy Laser Lethality Conference assembled scientists and engineers conducting research within the broad technology area of High Energy Laser (HEL) weapon lethality analysis to discuss a variety of current topics. The conference objective was to use the forum as a way to inform the HEL community of the latest findings regarding lethality work and identify the warfighter’s needs through the perspective of operational elements of the Army, Navy, and Air Force through oral presentations and poster sessions. The conference was conducted at the SECRET level and attendance was limited to U.S. citizens only.

The Conference presentations was held at the Virginia Advanced Shipbuilding and Carrier Integration Center (VASCIC), 2401 West Avenue, Newport News, VA.
