DIRECTED ENERGY PROFESSIONAL SOCIETY

Directed Energy Modeling and Simulation Conference 2009
6-10 April 2009 Monterey, California

In coordination with
HEL JTO M&S Technical Area Working Group (TAWG)

The modeling and simulation of Directed Energy phenomena, devices, systems, engagements, and missions is expanding in importance as DE systems are being developed and acquired. The heavy dependence upon M&S throughout the lifecycle of modern systems makes M&S critical to transition and acquisition success.

  • Live, virtual, and constructive M&S
  • High Energy Laser (HEL) subsystem modeling
  • Classified and unclassified topics
  • Government, academic, and industry viewpoints
  • Technology and modeling techniques
  • Model fidelity assessment
  • DE M&S in test and evaluation

Conference Highlights

  • Plenary session
  • Technical presentations and poster papers
  • Invited speakers
  • Short courses
  • Evening reception
